I've got my hands on something even Mrs Crmcatee can use.

It's small but works a treat and will keep anything that's got a straight edge on it as sharp as a sharp thing at a sharp convention. It doesn't do serrated blades.

One of these.

Which can be sourced from here complete with an instruction video on how easy it is to use.

A tenner or so.

Although they do a six for five option and four of them for 35 quid. Bargain.

Cheaper on eBay, oddly.

One for the 'Homes, Gardens and DIY' forum?

No way would I trust my Globals to something that's alleged to sharpen garden shears.

Although my father used to sharpen his Sabatier knives on the back doorstep. You know what? I'm still using them 30 years on. :smug:

It's a fixed angle for sharpening and provides an excellent edge on the blades I've run it through.

I'm impressed and I've been using diamond whet stones for years.
