After yet another issue this time on the "dreamliner" regarding the composite structure of its fuselage I am concered with the "In service" durability of these planes, with mention of cracks on wings and fuselages at this early stage plus the documented engine issues etc etc I dont feel as comfortable with this new generation of aircraft.I cannot see due to these early stress related issues the planes being as reliable in the long term as say the 747 has been.
(I understand their immpecable saftey record to date)
Just wondered if anyone felt the same?

Aircraft seem to be going the F1 route which is worrying. Make it lighter until it breaks, then fix it! Composites are a mature technology but there seems to be issues in the way its being used... Think I'll stick with 737's with dodgy tail fins biggrin
