Can't Find a 28 Hole Hub/Rims

I'm carrying out a refurd/modernisation of a 1962 Moulton at the moment, the one this I'm struggling on is the wheels. I'm looking for a 28h 95mm hub & some nice rims. Any advice?

I had a bit of a nightmare trying to find 28 hole rims for my 1965 Moulton deluxe resto. All I can say is do not be tempted to settle for 36 hole - it ends up ridiculously heavy and really spoils the ride. My best advice is to try St John's Street cycles until they get something suitable in - or the MBC.

The gods were smiling at me when I fell over some Campagnolo 28 hole Record hubs just recently. After a mammoth search I located some Mavic Open-Pros to suit and built my pride and joys.

I now have to be careful in locating some billiard table tarmac to use them on.

Ahhh, Spa Cycles, Zenith Ambrosio, £25 posted, come highly recommended by the Moulton yahoo group.

This isn't going to be a faithful resto as there is so little of the original bike left, more a modern interpritation.

Hope does pro II in a 28H. Not sure of the width compared with your requirement though.
