Fanatec GT2 Error code

Friend of mine has bought a second hand GT2 wheel. Out of warranty and has the 888 error code. Done some Google search and not found much on it.

Is it a easy fix or not worth the hassle?

You can try that, just need to get your hands on the parts. I would tell him he is better off just buying a new one, can't trust anyone on eBay...
