No gurantee of a job at the end of it, much like most apprenticeships. However, with the experience you get from on the job training with an F1 team I can't imagine you will struggle. I did an apprenticeship 11 years ago and can't fault it especially with Uni fees as they are now. Hopefully someone on here or someones kids might benefit from this!

Cheers buddy, filling that in now, need something like this!!! I can bet I wont be accepted for such a position in a team like that lol. Full of self confidence I am!!

Where are you based mate? We are interviewing for apprentices in a couple of months, so could be worth putting your CV in.

Well if you dont apply you deffinatly wont get accepted so no harm in trying! Gotta be in it to win it! Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Oh, I've filled it in and sent it in last night. Thing which worries me is the people with good qualifications from school applying. Although I have experience and qualifications in Engineering which I hope helps me. See what happens, no harm in trying for such an opportunity

I don't know if its the thing for me though :S I enjoy it to the motorsport sector more and would love to be in a motorsport company, very weird lol. Don't want to go hijacking a thread though

I'm not here to convince you either way, but it's very rare for someone to start in motorsport. You have to learn your skills somewhere.

I am trying to find a technician course at the moment, but may apply anyway, but like I said, whats the pay and work like?
