Anybody have any recomendations for companies that will offer classic car policy cover on the 993's as they seem to be on the cusp of what insurers consider a "classic car" ? Mines a 1996 C2S.

Thanks,

Thanks for the replies. Got a quote from Classic Line at £419 for 3000 miles p/a. Pretty affordable compared to my current daily driver policy.

I've just taken out a policy with Asset Trust. They were the best value I could find for my previous 993 and despite ringing round a few others they still came up with the best deal this time round too.

£420 fully comp, 5k miles with additional named driver, agreed value and £250 excess.

Most of the others I tried were about £100 more expensive and had a £500 excess.

I used to use Footman James for my Caterham and they were always very good.

Have you tried CCI like I said ? They will mostly likely be cheaper.

40ish year old with 94 993, 5000miles ltd, guaranteed value, European and UK comprehensive recovery, covered for business class around £450 off the top of my head from R&H. Quoted an additional £120 to move onto a 996tt so getting more and more tempted every day to say bye bye to my 993!!
