Selling frames. Advice please

I'm considering a frame swap on my Orbea, but to help finance the swap I will need to offload the old frame at the same time.

As a forum rule abiding fellow () I will not be attempting to sell on this thread, but I wondered how you go about pricing a frame that was originally only available as a complete bike (as far as I know)?

I like that, in fact I like it so much I've just added a question about the bottom bracket.


Garlic - what model and year is it? I reckon all you can do really is look at completed listings for comparable frames on ebay.

Just put it on the 'bay and let the market decide.

Obviously a nice clean and good pics will help enormously.

Try Bikeradar, pretty useful for selling bike parts.

I would type the description of the frame into eBay and then click on "completed listings" located in the column on the left of screen. This will tell you what recent items similar to yours have sold for. You do need to have an eBay account to do this.
