Just about to buy another 993 (sold my last one 4 years ago, always regretted it).

Can't find details of my previous broker. Got a quote from Flux but seems too high to me.

Any recomendations gratefully received.

i use competition car insurance and have done for many years

personal sevice, first name terms with the broker, no infinte electronic phone systems, 3 free trackdays cover included, around £320 per annum

Hendersons and classicline also good for a classic policy (with agreed value as well unlike CCI).

I got my best quote last time round from Bridle Performance. They advertise on 911uk.

They were good to deal with but as always with insurance you don't know how good until you actually have to claim.

Give these guys a call or email info@hendersontaylor.co.uk - they came up with the lowest premium for me by quite a margin although it was a 996 and not a 993.

Just to add my info to this thread, I tried classicline and got a stonking deal!!

Insured my 993 C2 (1995) for agreed value of £21K, costs £260 for a 3K mileage restriction or £320 for a 5K mileage restriction.

Never had a deal like that before.

My current broker quoted £460 to renew with my current insurer, but said they'd found one cheaper for £393.

Oh, age is 43 and I'm in the Berkshire area.

I've just taken out a policy with Asset Trust. They were the best value I could find for my previous 993 and despite ringing round a few others they still came up with the best deal this time round too.

£420 fully comp, 5k miles with additional named driver, agreed value and £250 excess.

www.asset-trust.co.uk
Phone: 01285 841555

Most of the others I tried were about £100 more expensive and had a £500 excess.
