Folks,

I will be leaving my current company in March, and plan to have a leaving do in one of the pubs in Edinburgh.

I am anticipating anywhere between 20-35 people attending, and need some place where we can reserve an area for us to inhabit.

People have mentioned Sygn, Indigo Yard, Grand Cru - any opinions?

Anyone got anywhere else?

Looking for city centre location.

My first thought was indigo yard. I think you can hire out the upstairs floor of the oyster bar at the east end too, which is quite a nice venue. Can't think of anything worthwhile in the grassmarket area off the top of my head.

No idea if its nice or a dive inside but I believe the Wash on the mound has a private area upstairs that can be hired out.

It's a funky little bar, suitable for late 20s-early 30s; didn't realise you could hire out a section. Think the manager's called Andy off the top of my head.

Pretty sure you can reserve areas in the Beehive, like the room off to the left as you walk in. It's an ok pub.

There is at least one room upstairs in the beehive available for hire as well.

The BrewDog pub on Cowgate might be viable too.

Oh, and the 9a Holyrood can reserve the two areas they have (front bit might be a bit small for 25, but the back bit would be perfect I think)
