Mondraker Factor SR

Anyone got one of the SR versions of this. Am looking for FS bike and saw this on Evans site for I think £1100, down from £1700. But saaw in their shop the RR version for £1700 odd from £2700 I think. Seemed to have Shimano gear on it, not shram?

I'm not well up on these things, the SR was not in the shop, they could order it in, but the RR was. Are these amchines any good? If not, for the similar money to the SR version, (ie £1100) what FS MTBS should I consider?

I've been out fo the scene for a fair few years and I have never heard of them!!

Any alternatives?
