No not the mileage or kilometres, but the price...

It is what it says it is (i.e. prototype for a further evolution) however, so quite unique, but that price is insane.

Saw this for sale about 3 weeks ago, crazy price. Much rather an Evo 2 for around 25-30k. Can pick up a tidy Evo 1 16v for around 17k.

Not another one.

You can't intensify unique; the Californian "OMG that's really unique!" is a solecism.
You may qualify unique; if there are two examples of something in the world, it is perfectly reasonable to say that one of them is "almost unique".
Naturally you will need to find a line between "almost unique" or "nearly unique" and "very rare indeed".

Uniqueness is not like pregnancy; there the case is reversed - you cannot be "almost pregnant", but can (colloquially, at least) be "very pregnant".

Hmmm, that's been doing the rounds for a while. I saw it advertised over a year ago, I think it was in Germany or Holland then. I can't remember what the asking price was then.

and that relates to the OP, how?

If a real aficionado is willing to pay for it, then it's worth every penny...

But to me, who is an Integrale fan, it is just an EVO 2 with a bit more power than standard, and easy to achieve. Given the amount of limited editions Lancia came up with, it is more like a limited edition than a radical EVO 3 step. Had it actually been released and won a few rallies, maybe my opinion would be different. Would still look good on my gravel drive though.

Indeed.

What an utter load of BALLs. Just a late spec EVO! £15k Max.

Talking of Evo's the std power is clearly pretty gay now a days.

Buying some tyres last nght from a guy (race prep firm), he had an immaculate restored (I think Evo 2) that was just waiting on it 450bhp rebuilt engine to arrive - NICE.

But 0 - 60mph in 5.7 seconds for unmodified 16 valvers is still hot by hatch standards. Of course it would get slaughtered round a track by a modern car, but Integrales were never race cars anyway, so who cares?

Ya that is OK. 4x4 help with 0- low speed numbers when not that much power.

Not really a fan of 4x4 (take to much of the skill of pedding out of it), If I had an Evo it would need at least 1.5x the std power to make it interesting (i.e. about what teh rally cars had (but with road (longer) gearing).
