Really pleased with the newest addition to the family, took her for a spin round the Lakes this afternoon and was as good as I was hoping it would be. Got a set of Mavic Kysyrium SLs to go on, but not planning any more changes as its pretty much perfect.
Couple of questions:
1. Can I get a less-tall headset top cap (Cane Creek), if I decide I want the stem a bit lower for racing?
2. Anyone run tubeless on their road bikes? My Kysriums are tubeless compatible, do I need specific tyres or will anything go? Any recommendations for light fast and cheap tyres?

Nice bike. I like the slimmer looking carbon frames with the thin seat stays. Is it comfortable?
You can just cut the top of the steerer tube if you don't want it.
Never heard of wheels that take clincher tyres and tubeless? What tyres are they now? No point in tubeless unless you are very serious about racing and have spare wheels!

I know I can cut the steerer tube, what I meant was underneath the stem in the picture there is a 15mm combined headset top cap/ spacer. It doesn't do anything other than keep the crap out of the headset and raise the stem by 15mm. I'm hoping they do a 5mm thick one to lower the stem further. I think I could replace it with somethingni've put together myself, but would rather have the proper part if they exist.
The wheels on the bike aren't tubeless, but my race wheels are, I don't have any tyres for them yet. I've run tubeless on all my mountain bikes, but usually with a 20" BMX tube to make the seal. I don't know if road tyres being tighter I need specific tyres or not. Tubeless is not tubs btw. It's useful because you just don't get punctures pretty , much at all, but if you do you can just stick a tube in. One less thing to worry about when out training etc.

Regarding the headset, yes you can probably get a shorter top race cover, google your headset model and see if you can get the part individually. The other option is to get a negative rise stem. You can get -10 and -17 which will have the same end result of lowering the bars. Did you not consider the H1 fit geo though? It's designed with shorter head tube in mind

The stem already is 'flipped'OP, you might well have a hard time findimg a shallower spacer, your best bet really would be to get a different headset with a lower stack height. Even at this level the OEM ones tend not to be great, it might be a worthwhile upgrade getting a decent quality sealed item.

Smart-arse answers would be vaguely funny if it tied in with what you were looking at in the picture, flipping the stem from where it is will raise the bars, not lower them! 
OP: You must be able to, it's only a cap, and like you say, doesn't need the full 15mm of height. Possibly worth trying the manufacturer or local bike shop? Would help if I knew what it was called

Yeah, my google skills are struggling because I have no idea what it's called! I went for the H2 fit because it s not primarily for racing and needs to be comfortable, it's still quite racey though. The H1 fit is only on the 6 series bikes, which didn't have a third of the price anyway.
I reckon the part is solid and could be turned down if necessary, but I also reckon the sell the part I want if I can track it down. I might not want it, it didn't feel too bad today with all the spacers in, and it's a lot lower now. But then again, I might want to lower it further for racing.
Re tubeless, I might get the valve and some gunk and see if any tire will do or not.

That works on MTBs and CX bikes sometimes, but not road bikes due to the higher pressures involved.Hutchinson are the main company making Tubeless road tyres, although I think Specialized (made by Hutchinson) make some and there are more in the pipeline.
