Hi,
Quick question, are reversing lights tested for the MOT as there does not seem to be a mention of them but they are fitted to the car? I see they will test rear fog lights but wondering about reversing lights.
Thanks,
Will

Reversing lights aren't tested currently (not sure if that'll be different with all the MOT changes coming in this year). Even if the car's fitted with reversing lights, it'll still pass if they don't work.

My reverse lights are converted into indicators, as it's an American car with red lenses, but as it's 1977 it doesn't need them anyway..

Only need rear fogs after a certain date (1980ish?), I believe your '79 is pretty close to that date but probably doesn't need one.

As said; reversing lights are not tested, even on a modern car,
