Please recommend me a decent ski chalet...
Discussion
Hi,
I recently stayed in an Alpine Elements run chalet in Les Arcs 2000. Nice enough chalet, perhaps not as luxurious as some.
Breakfast, afternoon cake and 3 course dinner included all days except Wednesday. House wine also provided.
I hadn't been skiing for years and never in France so not sure how Les Arcs compares to other resorts, but I found it had a good number of runs of varying difficulties.
Reasonable night life in Arcs 2000 also, although probably night up there with places like Val D'Isere etc
Would definitely go back and I do recommend it

Just come back from here, our review is dated 8th Jan, wife is already trying to book another visit. The reviews after that date are from people who stayed at the same time, unrelated to us.

Thanks. Looks good.
Could you get straight to the slops from it?
5 minute transfer, all included, anytime.Wife and daughter were up early to slopes, taken in by the owners, me and my son just told them we were going later and they dropped us off when we wanted. Same at the end of the day as well.Pop me a mail via my profile if you want to know anything else.Could you get straight to the slops from it?

Have a look at Silver Ski. Virtually all of their chalets are in France and ski in/ ski out. Not sure what their child policy is though - I don't have kids
They only fly from Gatwick, but they're very reasonable. Food in the chalets is excellent, wine included. They do have places in the 3 Valleys, but they've got some very good chalets in La Plagne which is definitely definitely worth considering.
