Depends on what you want - good food or average food. I find most places in Aberdeen provide average food, quantity over quality, there is no real culinary experience except for the tasting menu at Fusion, but most Aberdonians complain the Fusion portions are too small. I find them to be perfect,, and the wine flight is superd too.

Most Chinese restaurants are poor, with only the Manchurian on Causeway End being passable, I found Siagon to be pretty much pig swill. I also found Rustico's to be average, I do however like Ciao Napoli and have never had a bad meal there.

If it is good food and good value with food that has a taste, and you don't mind travelling, then the Cow Shed in Banchory is wonderful. Have probably been there 12 times in teh last year.

If we all liked the same thing, there only be one restaurant, and you'd never get a table smile

If you don't mind travelling a few miles, I'd strongly recommend Eat on the Green in Udny Green. Its not cheap and you will need to book but its worth it.

+1 for Eat on the green, was there last week, great food (ask for the steak more undercooked than normal though), great service, great atmosphere, around £45-50 pp without wine

If it's fine dining you're after then I recommend Fusion on North Silver Street (i.e. not the Chinese takeaway of the same name on Holborn Street). Musa already mentioned is also excellent.

Nargile on Forest Road is great for Turkish too.
