I think the last two car packs have been a bit meh. So I started thinking about the cars that id like to see in future car packs. I mean the dev team spent time designing and implementing the Pinto (Why bother?!) so why not get some older cars that will actually be used competively...

Heres a few, what would yours be?

Japanese pack

Honda Civic EJ1 Coupe
Honda Civic EF9 VTi
Honda Accord Type R
Nissan Skyline R30
Nissan Pulsar GTi R
Subura Impreza Classic (sedan and wagon)
Toyota Celica GT4 91'
Tommy Kaira ZZ11 (I think GT has the license for Tommy Kairas though?)
Mazda 787b

Euro Pack

MGB GT
BMW 8 Series
Peugeot 205 GTi
RUF Yellow Bird
Seat Ibiza Cupra 20v Turbo
Peugeot 106 Rallye
TVR Chimaera
TVR Griffith
Jaguar XJR15

Id also like to see some SSR Professor and proper BBS split rims in the game.

I wouldn't mind seeing a pack containing some older racing cars.

1. Dauer 962 (As there's no Porsche)
2. Sauber C9
3. Jaguar XJR9
4. Lancia LC2
5. Mazda 787B
6. BMW M1 Pro Car
7. Alfa Romeo T33/2
8. Mercedes 300 SLR
9. Alfa Romeo 155 DTM
10. Mercedes CLR

AIUI GT5 got the GT86 "Exclusive". Which is fine by me because I think the BRZ looks nicer. smile

You can already make the Btcc A4 mate, just buy the older s4 put the forza aero on and then get one of the designs from the storefront! Et voila!

I'd like to see the astra 888 coupe added aswell!

I'd love to see the classic Mini in there and any Sevenesque open wheeler, but it'll never happen, the Mini's too small and the physics engine and car models couldn't cope with the Caterham/Westfield thingy

+1 for the '90s BTCC pack, IIRC someone said the Volvo V70 T5 is going to be in one pack, not sure when though. That just leaves the Mondeo, Laguna, 406, Vectra, Primera, Accord etc...etc...

Ariel Atom
KTM XBOW
Noble M10
Nissan Sunny/Pulsar GTI-R
TVR Griffith
Opel Manta
Peugeot 405 T16 Pikes Peak
De Tomaso Pantera GT5S

I'll be happy if any of those make it.

Why do you think that? Seem to recall PGR3 (or 4?) had a caterham R500 in it...

As they are at the moment the cars are just tubs with wheels hanging out of the bottom, there is nothing that actually connects the wheels to the car, no suspension, wishbones or anything. I think it would just be too difficult for them to code that into a model, what with the complex geometry of a double wishbone setup, everything you can see on the cars of the stuff that should be working is just for show. PGR and GT4/5 have Caterhams of some sort (I think it was an R500 in PGR) in them but they are completely different games coded differently.
