I remember discovering Etta through Chicken Shack's version of I'd Rather Go Blind. She is right up there with Aretha in any list of great female soul singers.

Just told the missus that Etta James had died and she replied "at last". I knew what she meant but it was still amusing!

We had "At Last" as our first dance at our wedding. RIP Etta.
