Engine Upgrades for Tuscan
Discussion
The Typhon is superchared and I think they are using a Rotrax supercharger the same as I have on my supercharged Elise - it certainly looks the same (but larger) and delivers 2x the boost of the one I have.
I guess the only people I know who are experienced with this are www.turbotechnics.com ...however I suspect the development cost would prohibit them sorting out a kit for the S6
Maybe better to wait until official factory upgrades come out i think

My local TurboCentre as quoted me for a Trust/Greddy TD05-18g Turbo @ 1.2bar. Add a Blitz SBC-iD Boost Controller on the speed six for £2k. They recon it will produce another 100+bph and the BPH will peak at 6000 - 6500rpm.
They suggested using a bigger turbo will produce too much lag. Their other sugestion was to use water injection to stop pre-detination, against using NOS with the turbo. This will gain an extra 25-35 BHP.
SO for a RR T350 BHP will be in the region of 500BHP on a £2k budget. They did say the boost gaugue would be good to find the correct pressure for day to day driving. Oh I forgot, the intercooler fits nice and snug by the left hand air intake on the left hand front.
Of Course, if you read this by now you have worked out that the above is a right load of rubbish, and that 390 or 400BHP in a Tuscan is enough for anyone...Of course, no offence intended for anyone reading this post, how ever high you're hopes got...Sorry...

I wouldnt want a glowing red hot turbo under the bonnet of a plastic car though ! ..think thats one of the reasons why most Elises are supercharged and that TVR have gone down that route...as well as the linear power delivery with no lag. The speed 6 is bad enough in the wet...I wouldnt want another 100lb/ft of torque kicking in at 2000revs when the turbo spooled up
