I think this would be a great idea.

A selection of the great and good recipes from the hallowed pages of PH, maybe with some of the following chapters.......

Motor sport food - Easy to prepare meals and snacks ideal for watching motor sport.

The ultimate BBQ - Impress your mates with these inspired BBQ treats

etc etc...

So what do you think?

Good call. Are you thinking a properly published and bound book, or just a collection of recipes in a pdf that can be distributed freely and printed off?

I not sure to be honest, just thought I would put it out there to get some feed back. Pdf would be the simplest however a proper book would be great for the coffee table!!

It definitely would be great. Whether or not it's practical or even possible to do (haymarket would clearly have to give their permission for us to use trademarks etc etc) I'm not sure.

We could do both? Collate a PDF version that we could ultimately publish in a limited run of proper books?

ETA: What about these new fangled e-book doodahs? What are they all about?

PH Copmetition entries with recipes?

Chill Ideas?

Slow cooker stuff

skills?

there would certainly be a fair amount of infor to put on there- but would take a while to put it together.

If every one sent their recipes as a word doc they could be copied and paisted into the final doc

How about a wiki with hyperlinks to a thread on each recipe?

That way we could have "ABC by OA" and also have comments (laughing in my case), feedback (negitive in my case) and sugestions (lots in my case).
