Brett,

Better fit locking wheelnuts, or I'll have your 5-spokes away in the dead of the night.

Try www.afswheels.com, they do replicas at $260 a rim. I was going to try them for a pair of rear wheels for drag tyres. Original ZR-1 wheels seem to be like Dodo poo.

Thanks for that Richard. I think I'm going to order a set of those at $1648 with tyres, centre caps and balance, that looks quite good. My rears are down to just over 3 mm so i will be needing tyres soon.

Time to give Steve a shout I think.

I have been buying GM A moulds for ZR1 from a regular GM parts store for $260 each. This is for front and rear, no difference in price. I have bought 4 sets so far this year with no issues. The only original ZR1 wheels that are rare as hens teeth are the 90 rears. For all you guys that have taken them off, get them refurbed and put them away, at the moment they are fetching up to $600 a piece.

Thats because the rears crack. The nearside rear cracked on mine (on the inside of one of the spokes). I noticed it when I cleaned the wheel while it was removed. I marked the ends of the crack with marker pen and rechecked a couple of drives later - the crack was growing. I managed to pick up a refurbed wheel from Tom (his only on 90 ZR1 wheel) for about £350 but that was a couple of years ago.

Scary buiscuits, I'd better check my wheels for cracks then. Thanks for the tip.
