New bike time - Specialized hybrids?

I've had a Trek FX 7.3 for well over 4 years, its been a good bike, but its definitely getting tired. Seems like all the brake and gear components are totally wearing out (last night it decided that it doesn't want to change up a gear, only down).

So ride2work scheme comes to the rescue in helping me finance a new bike.

For no particularly good reason other than my local independent handling them, I'm reckoning on a specialized hybrid, specifically one of the Crosstrail range.

Looking at the options :

£450 - Crosstrail Disc, 24 speed, mechanical discs
£500 - Crosstrail Sport Disc, 27 speed, tektro draco hydraulics
£700 - Crosstrail Comp Disc, 27 speed, Shimano BR-M446 hydraulics

All seem to have the same basic front fork (Suntour SF11-), with differing specs.

I'm erring towards the Sport Disc, wondering if the Shimano brakes are going to be much better than the Tektro, and if the hydraulic lockout (Comp) would be favourable over the mechanical (Sport).
