Ideas for Half Term please?

Ok, the family GG (me, wife 3 kids aged 11, 9 & 5) want to go away over the half term. Prefer long weekend, ie. 3 nights, got to save my leave for the summer.
Looked at Center Parcs which is current favourite but pretty expensive at approx. £600 fri - mon.
Another is Legoland but its shut until March so maybe wait until then. Works out at about £450 fr 2 nights hotel with entrance to park on 2 days.
We are in south Lincs so don't want anything too far away, 2.5 hrs max.
Any other ideas? Max. budget definately no more than Centre Parcs
