That aren't based on bread or pasta (or other high carb food), but which are quick and easy to prepare that morning.

At the moment i'm on tin of sardines and a can of soup- an odd combination.

Make your own soup!

I make a saucepan full on sunday night and pour it into 5 containers, put a couple in the fridge for Monday and Tuesday and the rest in the freezer for the week.

2 cans of chopped tomatoes
1pt of vegetable stock
Leftover Veg from the fridge, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, broccolli, frozen peas, onions etc.
Also a few herbs if you have them, dried or fresh.

Worstershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste.

Leave it chunky or blitz half.

Simple, takes 20-30 minutes from start to end and leaves your an extra 5 minutes a day in bed!

We came up with a quick crustless quiche, just add your own filling?

Quiche

Or some quick salads that you can chuck in a tupperware box?
