Amazon prices go up and down all the time, the best prices i've seen there for the motorsports packages are:
- Hero: £155
- Hero 2: £255

I managed to pick up a Hero2 on Amazon for £245 delivered (from the US it seems!). That was my 2nd go at ordered one after the first wasn't actually in stock!

I just bought my Motorsport hd hero 2 for £230 delivered from an eBay/amazon seller called digigood. I couldn't find cheaper and it came 2 days later.

Crikey £500 for Vegas Pro.

I wonder if there are any decent open source packages out there. I don't fancy paying that sort of money for something I'll use once in a blue moon

I use some kind of Sony Vegas Studio. Was less than £80 I think.

I'm about to order this which for just over £30 seems reasonable. There's a slightly cut down version here for under £25.

I decided to go with Vegas Movie Studio as it seems to have everything I'm likely to want.

I use a think lanyard and just wrap it over something. On the Ford I cable tied it through the grill on the rear bumper.

That's something I'm worried about. It's all very well saying that it WILL stay attached with the sucker but what if!?

I'll have to make a tether fro, paracord and attached it something else then attach to body work with the sucker
