It seems to me that we've got all manner of classic cars owned by PHers in the classic car section and a great deal of them (the cars wink) are used as nature intended...

Does anyone fancy joining me in putting together some kind of tour/rally for this spring/summer?

I was thinking about a B-Road 'tour' which would involve two nights away.

Meeting somewhere central-ish mid morning on Day 1 (to allow people to leave from home that morning). Day 1 afternoon blast, Day 2 full day driving (broken by a decent lunch), Day 3 big breakfast followed by perhaps a visit to a motor museum and then the option of a Sunday lunch somewhere or just heading off home. With the resources available on the regional PH fora I'm sure we could come up with some stunning driving roads. I envisage a bit of a loop over the 3 days bringing us back to near where we started. An example may be meeting in the Midlands, night one spent on Herefordshire/Worcs/Wales border, full day of driving up and over the southern Welsh mountains, day 3 head back to start point with a stop off.

Does anyone think this sounds any good? If so I'm happy to organise things but could probably use some help/tips from anyone and everyone.

The one consideration is budget. I'd be all for doing it 4* with decent lunches and dinners but would be just as happy to do it at a lesser level.

Over to you (all).
