Visited the Autosport show today and had to find the TVRCC stand. Ive been in the TVRCC since July 2011 having had a Chimaera since August 2011 but have never had the time to go along to any of there meets. I have to say they are all very friendly and a great bunch I've been in quite a few car clubs and the TVRCC is by far the best one and offers the most. Anyone know who's the Orange Cerbera was on the stand stunning car ? (as were all the others).

Hi Calvin, thanks for the comments about the stand. It took lots of hard from the members and it's great when it's appreciated :-)

The Cerb is owned by West Mids member John Moris and it's nearly at the end of a 14 month refurb. Now running a 4.7 AJP V8 which should make about 500 bhp I understand! A really great car. Pics over on the Cerb forum.

If anyone is going to the show tomorrow come along to see us for a chat.

I think one thing that annoyed me and probably annoyed the actual owners of the cars even more (note I was just visiting the stand, not part of it) was the occasional people climbing into the cars without permission, the two I sat in, the Cerbera and the Sagaris, I asked permission to have a sit in. While I was talking to Paul about his Sagaris there was someone letting their child climb all over the passenger seat in his Sagaris, that annoyed me, some completely random person letting their kid stand on the seats, do they not realise that being an owners club that these cars actually belong to people not just a manufacturer, I mean it annoys me enough with manufacturer owned cars but when they are privately owned that annoys me a hell of a lot more.

Unfortunatley you get that at every show, people just dont seem to realise it's someone's pride and joy. I'm sure if they went out to the car park and saw someone swinging the doors open and jumping in and out of their car they'd have something to say about it.

stand looked great to those involved in putting it up (and down!) and spending all 4 days on the stand! I think we all had a good time though despite the achey legs hehe

Personally I didn't spot any cars only numerous promo girls hehe

Great stand & wonderful to see the TVRs in the midst of winter.

Compliments to all involved. For me, the TVRCC really does stand out above the rest, & now dabbling in Lotus waters, I can confirm that nothing else really compares!

Before I start, I'd like to say I'm not trolling - as it seems it's very easy to offend the TVRCC lot.

I've seen the stand previously at the NEC, it does look impressive and raises the profile of the marque in the absence of manufacturer backing (obviously) - which can only be a good thing.

I wondered what the intent was? I presume it costs a lot of money to attend (floor space, logistics) and I believe that 99% of the potential members (those who own TVRs) are already aware of the club whether they choose to join or not.

At the show I attended previously, the TVRCC was the only 'club' (IIRC) there amongst manufacturers/sales stands.
