Full tilt maserati
Discussion
I am hoping to arrange a trip to germany to experience my car at full tilt or as near as my heart will handle before we part company. Any info on what to avoid, driving skills, insurance loop holes ( will they try and back out of any claim arinsing from 180mph on the autobahn?) Generally never done it before and I want to learn from your mistakes that you may have encountered previously. Any one else interested in tagging along is more than welcome. Will only be going overnight or 2 nights max.
Cheers

Hi Ash
chris_n, craigw and myself have attended the VMAX at bruntingthorpe in our respective 3200's (craig organises the event and does a fantastic job of it!) - so if you've not done this then it's probably the best way to see 169 / 170 on the speedo (in the uk) without getting banned for life!
Anyway, running at that speed the car is incredibly stable and actually quite relaxing! Steering has to be measured given the quick rack, but no real drama to be honest.
Also worth a read(I'm sure you ahve it) is the 200mph special evo ran last year - they ahve some decent info in there on which autobahns to use etc..
Having said all that - when you going - sounds like fun!
