Suggestions for a bike ??
Discussion
Hi,
Just looking for some advice about a new bike, there is just way too much choice out there and the missus wont appreciate me trawling the internet for hours every evening !!
Im looking to spend up to £500. When it comes to riding style im not in to any serious riding, just cycling around roads, tracks, forests etc, wherever we fancy going. Ive had a full suspension bike and cant say that I ever justified it, a hardtail would be fine now I think.
Thanks in advance

Spec wise you probably wont find better than this:
http://www.canyon.com/_uk/mountainbikes/bike.html?...
They are mail order only though, so you can't try for size first (although they have a no quibble return policy). Their online sizing tool is pretty accurate, and combined with the UK support guy you wont have a problem picking the right size.

Also supposed to be top draw for the money.

Better speccd than a similarly priced specialized.
