ExCel Bike Show

Popped by today on a whim. £20 on the door, but could/should have bought online using a discount code and gotten in for £16.
Good mix of stands, but more display than retail. Pinarello, Trek, Yeti, Planet X, Mondraker, Madison, Sigma and Chickens to name a few. A few bargains to be had here and there - stuff like energy foods and drinks were good value in bulk. Got a nice pair of bib shorts and jersey (in an Argyle diamond pattern...) from Morvelo for only £80. Nice guys on the stand too and some cool Tshirts.
Oh, and got a nice Union Jack mug, Gatorade bottle and a copy of Rouleur for free when I joined British Cycling. Bargain

Did you take a look around the other shows too? I am off there on Saturday, looking forward to the cycle show, shame there is never much retail stands thoughGood mix of stands, but more display than retail. The Bike show is mixed in with the Outdoors show - which is interesting in it's own right. Didn't bother with the Boat show (wasn't wearing chinos or a blazer and didn't want to get asked to leave...)
To be honest, I was only there for about 3 hours before I found myself starting to spend money recklessly to cure the boredom!
