Mate is looking for a Qashqai - Used approved from Nissan dealer, 08 model will come with 12 months warranty so shouldn't be too much to worry about. Dealer has confirmed specific car has had two recalls:

Steering gear cover screw - listed on vosa recall list, seems to be straightfoward.

Intel power distribution module - asked for more info on this. Dealer said "The intel power module was a remapping of the ECU to avoid the battery losing charge. This was specific to the car."

I've googled, searched etc but can't find anything. Anyone know if this is something to be concerned about?

thanks

Karhu

Have a late 2007 model from new and not heard or been contacted about this.
I know there may have been some issues with rear shocks, had them renewed under warranty at the first service free of charge.
Not heard of any other issues though.
Hope that helps.
