We have the 1 a day thread, so here's the 1 a week thread.
For various reasons I don't have the time/dedication/commitment (delete as you see fit) to take, process and upload an image a day. Hopefully others will post their progress here. If not, I'll continue...
I'm only two weeks in so far, with the first being extremely cliche - you have been warned!

I'll post up too. Decided a 365 was too much for another year (after doing 2 years of them!) so a 52 it is for 2012.

I'd been thinking of doing a 365, but this seems far more sensible.

And me! Failed the 365 last year so thought 52 would be more achievable. Kind of hoping to establish a theme as my friend is doing a 365 of self portraits! But this will cover the first two weeks at least

Really like that shot of the snowy trees, Craig. Glad to see you're still doing a project this year as I enjoyed your stuff in 2011.

Yeah, It's the easier version of a Photo a day or 365. The believe the idea is to force yourself to get out with the camera/try new shots or to record a year of your life.Mine will be nothing like as good as most but I'm learning
For week 4 I borrowed my Dad's Canon 100mm F2.8 L USM Macro lens - I'm in LOVE!! I seriously need to get one of those in my camera bag!
The shot is of a crystal tumbler which was setup in front of a white background and was lit using a ex480 speedlite from the left hand side. The shot was white when taken and the colour was added in post production.

Like it! Macro does open up a whole new world. The simplest of items, lit correctly, looks great and makes for interesting shots.The shot is of a crystal tumbler which was setup in front of a white background and was lit using a ex480 speedlite from the left hand side.
