Used in a scene in Dennis Hopper's Out of the Blue, I love this song but can't find out much about it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IinjOUzOZeQ

It's suggested on Youtube that it's Bob Seger, but some people in the comments section say it's not him.

Enjoy anyway, thanks for looking.

It's definitely Bob then. Thanks a lot for that.

I don't own any of his stuff. Which albums of his would you recommend?

Googling this suggests you are correct. Superb, thanks a lot.

Any idea where I can get a copy?

Cheers.

oops, stand corrected smile

I'd still suggest listening to Bob Seger aswell. YouTube "Hollywood Nights".

Plenty of people seem to think it's Bob on the internet too.

Hollywood Nights is excellent.

Mmmm, not sure if that is Seger, especially at that stage, try 1978s Stranger in Town (album feat. Hollywood Nights btw) for some good (imo) Bob and the Silver Bullet Band.
Doubtful that that's him though - sorry to confuse even more.

It's defo not Young, that much is sure....

Cheers Andy, I think Sprouts got it right with Tom Lavin. He wrote and performed it with his band The Powder Blues apparently.

I don't know if it's available anywhere.
