Elise sill replacement

Hi,

Has anyone removed and replaced a S2 sill? How easy is it to remove without the tools discussed in the service manual? Can the new one be attached without the air gun for the adhesive?

What happened to the original sill? Why does it need replacing?

yes, you don't need special tools, but it's not a nice job, prepare to take hours over getting the old one off and then itching for the next week.

Crash damaged. Large crack vertically with section missing. Also new door and clams. Don't think sill is repairable.
