Finger/Thumb picks

I think I'd like a set of finger/thumb picks to aid finger picking in songs.

Please can somebody guide me to getting a suitable set? I see there are different plastic ones and also metal ones too. If it helps, I tend to use a fairly flexible plectrum for strumming/rhythm work but can't get to grips with a plectrum for lead so always use my fingers.

I'm looking at the Jim Dunlop ones here as a reference but I've only picked that as a brand that I know and use already. I'm open to other suggestions and price is fairly immaterial as they're cheap anyway.

I got impatient and bought a set of brass 'Alaska Pik' picks as a Google search had a few people recommending them.

I'll give them a go, they're only cheap so if they're rubbish then I'll get something else.

I've never got on with fingerpicks, horrible scratchy things. They used to be necessary to get good volume in the days before piezo pups. Now I just whack the volume up.

I pick my nails and don't use fingerpicks. Flesh works alright for me and since I'm used to an acoustic doesn't really hurt. I remember growing my nails on my right hand once for fingerpicking, couldn't get on with it at all and bit them off
