not sure anything needs done about saleen - number 8 was off the pace and don't forget number 7 has the best driver pairing in the championship. Its a quick car with quick drivers, its bound to win the odd race or two. Admittedlym, the GT race could have been better.

GTO was a cracker though.

viperman, heard today Brookspeed aren't competing in any more GT races this season, costing them 20K per race with no new money coming in.

I think you're right about the best driver pairing in the championship, but they will not only have additional weight penalties for Silverstone, I believe they may also have a more severe restrictor imposed on them as well. We'll have to wait and see if that makes any difference - becuase the extra few kilos certainly won't!

I didn't folow that car very closely. Nathan Kinch had been given a big build up pre-Knockhill but he seems to be easing himself in gently?

Was Herridge rapid for his whole stint?

viperman, one of our club members was at Brookspeeds new premises on Saturday, they heard direct from the horses mouth.

I was talking to someone closely involved with Chamberlains and basically they don't have any drivers to hand with the budget so their car(s) will sit idle too.

thats a great shame, i will really miss them, apart from that, they are ok financially, so brookspeed as a company wont just collapse and go bankcrupt will they, i hope not
