I had no idea they were still going.

Last I heard from them was that Justin had left and that was it.

Going to have a nosey now.

As their website hasn't been updated since 2004 as their latest single, it is not just me out of the loop. hehe

I bought the album by accident. The joke wore off in a few weeks and what was left was rubbish.

Loved them since I saw them for free at Rockingham ater an Ascar race!

Permission to Land = Awesome

One Way ticket = Not as good, but definitely grown on me a lot more since first purchasing it.

If you haven't heard them, check out the EP single from Permission to land, Bareback, Planning Permission, Curse of the Tollund Man, Physical Sex and Best of me.

Can't wait for the new album thought! Wooh!

Purchased Permission to Land out of curiosity when it first came out, wish i had not bothered. Didnt know they had done another album, or that their members had continued in the music business. Mediocre band at best

Hate 'em (but mostly Justin). The only good thing about The Darkness is that when they split some of them, including Dan Hawkins, went on to form Stone Gods, who were a really good live band (and made a pretty decent album too).

Was never into them at all, but I saw one of their videos and found it quite amusing ( may be the link posted above, but my iPad wont play it frown ).

I may catch them at the Isle of Wight festival in the Summer if there's not a good enough alternative at the time...

The YouTube and website links should work.

Anyone who doesn't like the Darkness should be taken outside and beaten with something glittery.

I think they have new stuff now, but they are long gone since their past releases album.
i think they are on tour now, they we're also part of the Download festival this year. i think they'll be releasing a new album come 2012. i hope so.

but i choose Steel Panther anytime over these guys.

To my ears, it's Pantomime rock, the worst rubbish of all. Horses for courses.
