Just received the provisional grid details which can be found here:-

http://www.lemansclassic.com/userfiles/pdfs/2012/L...

At first glance there seem quite a lot less Brits racing, but that could be because now it is so popular they have to share things out more. I'm pleased to see that there are no DB Panhards mixing it with the D-types this time since they were a mobile chicane and lapped seven times in each race. They seem to have messed around with the grid car ages again since 1955 cars are in grid 2 not 3 like last time and there are only 3 D-types in all and Nigel Webb's cars don't appear at all - neither the 1955-winning D-type, his C-type nor his E-type. Plateau 3 looks an interesting mix, but in plateau 4 a Grantura and an MGB mixing it with a GT40? Hope they have big mirrors. I'll shut up there and read your comments to see what you think.

> "they were a mobile chicane"

Wasn't Le Mans always a collection of mobile Chicanes?
