Just got a go pro hd hero for christmas and am wondering what people on here use for video editing, whether it is a go pro or not.

Are you PC or Mac?

I use final cut pro, but thats just because we use it at work. A bit overkill for most day to day stuff.

I threw my gopro around today with my neice and nephew- terrible in low light, but we got some hilarious footage- We rein-acted jaws with lego characters.

Great thing was, everyone just thought the camera was a toy- no one got intimidated by a 'big camera'. As a result, ive got some wonderful shots of my family just being plain silly!

Well I got it mainly for filming track days and go karting but I quite fancy getting a chest rig to film some skiing.

Im also going on a road trip across america in august so I'm going to film some of the activities I get up to as well as a time lapse of the actual drive across the country. Something like this :

I'm a big fan of premiere elements. I use that to edit everything from my canon slr.

It's £50 on amazon at the moment for elements 10 or £60 including photoshop elements too.
