most definitely, a very good idea as so many other marques have their own board so why not subaru, it would make prospective owners and current owners efforts to find information about the cars a lot easier than trawling through the jap section trying to find anything relating to subaru

Not really worth it. Jap Chat isnt very populated anyway, will just dilute it further.

If you own or are interested in Subarus why would you not want one ? It gets my vote.

Its only been a few hours. I would definitely be in favour of a subaru section

I might have sounded like the voice of doom in the "discussion" thread but I voted YES here.

My thoughts exactly. For a group of cars so popular with performance motoring enthusiasts, this section is quiet enough as it is.

Tbh the Honda section could probably be merged back into the Jap forum too. If you were going to go all the way, you could delete the Jap forum and add a Subaru section, and a Toyota forum that would get 5 posts a year and a Mitsubishi section that would get 3. wink

Jap chat is SOOOOO busy, it needs things splitting off so folks only ever see people with the same stuff... Keep in in a big mixyblob.

Should only be able to vote if you have one. It makes no difference to non owners, same as I couldnt care less if there is a peugeot, bmw etc sub area, but if other marques can have one, then why not subaru since it is a popular pistonhead car of choice?

Of course it matters, the more you divide, segragate, and sub the sub-forums, the less busy the others will be. Jap chat isn't that busy at the best of times. Diversity is good. Having all sorts of different jap cars under one banner is good.

If you want to be xenophobic, there are plenty of Subaru Forums out there on the web.

JapChat is quiet enough as it is.
