I love my quality, thick, wholegrain, tasty, nutty and seeded brown breads, but nothing beats a slice of mouth wateringly fluffy cheap white processed stay-fresh bread from time to time in my book.

Nor a few slices of this 'cheese' when tired of the endless mature varieties either!

My preference is also the cheap and fatty 'stewing steak' diced beef in stews and casseroles, certainly over the all higher quality lean or diced beef. The flavour is tenfold and Im going back to it next year.

Finally, having painstakingly prepared and BBQ'd endless dozens of gourmet burgers for family and friends, I find the occasional nasty microwave hamburger in my hand/belly immensely gratifying! biggrin

I am certain I stand alone on the last one - does anyone like worse?

Donner kebabs for me - I know they are full of undesirable stuff, but i love them especially when the meat is crispy. Haven't had one for 6 months though as I am trying to lose weight.

KFC.

There are times when only a bargain bucket will scratch that itch!

Fish fingers (and not those '100% fillet' ones - they are NOT proper fish fingers, just mini versions of normal breaded fish!)

Proper ones should contain 'fish' of unknown origin that looks slightly grey, and should be covered in breadcrumbs (definitely not batter). The breadcrumbs should also be the most un-natural looking orange colour you can imagine. They should also be as cheap as possible (Tesco value range, or Lidl own brand, etc.)

Four of those, between two slices of cheap white bread smeared with tartare sauce and butter... heaven. cloud9

I'd agree.
Though plastic cheese is also good!

This. In toasted pita. No other rubbish, no green st. Chilli sauce and mayo to dip. So, so wrong. But so right.

Scampi, chicken dippers, chicken Kiev, McDonalds of most varieties. And a nasty sweet and sour special from the Chinese.

I'm bad.

not sure if they do these anywhere else, but here in dubai you can get all manner of wrongness from KFC - the shrimpo zinger wrap.

basically, scampi in zinger batter with salad etc, seafood sauce, in a toasted wrap. oh so wrong yet oh so right!

i'll go buy one tomorrow and stick it on the dirty takeaway thread. might do a combo with a mc arabia sandwich.

Foie gras. As someone who buys meat with provenance attached to it, I feel it's a bit hypocritical to like it, given the life the Goose has had, and the gavage it has to endure. But by Christ it's lovely.

We need to see an Arab KFC smorgasbord. The Shrimpo sounds amazing.
