Clearly not though, and if nothing else, it does serve to prove just how brilliant athletes the top MMA fighters are

Keep an eye on this fella Eddie Hall folks....(he trains at our gym)
He's 23, won Uk's strongest man 2011 and now has his sights on the worlds!

UK's strongest man is a totally different organisation to the Worlds, This was started by Glenn 'Who's The Daddy' Ross when he fell out with the official organizers of the WSM Dougie Edmunds so set up UK's Strongest Man. To qualify for the WSM you have to do the 'Giants Live' tour and not UKSMHe's 23, won Uk's strongest man 2011 and now has his sights on the worlds!

Before Glenn retired he pretty much won every UK's strongest man as all the heats featured stuff that suited himself i.e. static lifts.
However Eddie has great potential and is possibly a future contender for WSM - However at the moment he isn't mature enough or strong enough to even qualify but again a definate future contender.
However as youngsters go Stefán Sölvi Pétursson has a great future as long as he stays injury free.

Pud is a martial artist in his own right though, and I honestly expected him to clean up, what with the combination of his strength, martial arts knowledge, and MMA training.

Well he started out as a boxer didn't he, i didn't think he was anything special in the martial arts.Clearly not though, and if nothing else, it does serve to prove just how brilliant athletes the top MMA fighters are
