Went to see this bunch at the Scala near King's Cross last night. Flippin' excellent gutsy blues rock. The lead singer (Lynne Jackaman) reminds me of a cross between Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks. Very tight band, nice slide guitar and harmonica work. Highly recommended.

Not seen them but they're played a lot on Planet Rock absolutely superb! Like you say she has a stunning voice.

First time I heard 'Soul on Fire' played on the radio, and I'd never heard of the band, I thought her voice sounded quite like Maggie Bell.

But you're right, she has a stunning voice.

I love the album Diary Of A Soul Fiend, cracking stuff, Lynne Jackman appears on the new album from The Answer, Revival, which is also a crackin album.
