Well, the office xmas party went well on Saturday night. Unfortunately, I still haven't stopped being sick yet. Everything that I eat or drink seems to magically reappear about two minutes later, so I've changed tactics to only eating and drinking stuff that won't hurt when it forcefully reappears. Oxtail soup and chicken soup are surprisingly pleasant when they come back up but Alpen is not. Alpen hurts. Like throwing up gravel.

A good bacon sarnie and plenty of water with vitamins does the trick.

I always find chocolate Frijj is good for a hangover, with the added benefit of tasting quite nice on the way back up.

Sunday morning I had the pleasant experience of reviewing the contents of my stomach. I've decided that kebab meat and chips looks exactly the same when you initally eat it as it does on the way back out. I may avoid the chilli sauce next time, that really does burn worse the second time round...

Get a nice glob of halfcooked pork fat and tie it to some cotton.

Swallow and pull back up a few times and you'll soon feel better.

Still vomming now says to me that you might actually need some medical attention.

In the meantime get some oral rehydration salts - Dioralyte or similar - and sip lots of it.

I don't want to scare you but an old colleague of mine who spent a good many years 'exercising' his liver, had a drink or two at a birthday celebration, felt lousy and was dead a week later. He was 57... frown Liver disease apparently. yikes

I have a 4 stage hangover cure, drink plenty of orange juice when you first get up, after about an hour have a sausage/bacon/both sarnie, continue to drink orange juice and/or coke until lunch the vitamins/sugar help a lot, then for lunch have a KFC zinger tower meal, pure stodge and you feel great after it.

Mcdonalds syrupy coke is great for hangovers. Makes the pan fizz, too.

Feeling a lot more chirpy now after 3 cans of full-fat Coke. Though I do appear to have an overwhelming urge to park a sh*t the size of a bass drum.

Berocca.

One before the night out and one when you wake up.

I haven't ever been hungover when doing this. Might just be lucky.

In your defence you are famously bad with alcohol and vomiting. A lot.
