Any way of getting entry to the London Marathan now?

A friend of mine from Australia wants to buy his wife entry into the London Marathan 2012 but is hitting a brick wall.

Is it possible to get entry now that the ballot is closed?

He would happily make a donation to charity etc to get a ticket for his wife.
