Me - Some comfort food

Pan fryed salmon fillets on a bed of creamy mash with a garlic and prawn butter sauce. (wifes favorite)

Just got back from a BBQ on the central coast (lamb, beef and chicken followed by a pavlova and rum balls - YUM !). Tucking in to a glass of wine but no more cooking for me today.

First BBQ weather at the weekend for 3 weeks. Weather has been mostly raining in NSW since we got back from BTaP. Today was good though smile

Is it still snowing in the UK ?

Can't help much on the balls except chocolate and rum as they where made by one of the locals.

Freeeezing today -1 in Berkshire no snow (yet) but watch this space!! Hence the warming food today

I'm going to make an EPIC sandwich later this afternoon.

Ingredients will be : Lightly toasted Ciabatta, butter, olive oil, mayo, mustard, green chilis, hot sliced sirloin steak (medium rare), turkey ham, Monterey Jack cheese, coleslaw, tomato, red onion, and rocket.

Ok slight change. My wife love Liver and Bacon, so I just got some fresh Calves Liver. Will be served with roasties

As promised, I hereby present my Epic Sandwich! biggrin

Ciabatta lightly toasted, drizzled with olive oil, spread with German mustard and mayonnaise, then topped with wild rocket, tomato, red onion and sliced green chilis...
