I have been aske to write a bio and I have not got a clue where to start, has anyone ever wrote one before?

Why have you been asked to write one; where will it be used? This will influence the content.

Things you might want to consider for inclusion though, could be:

Your photographic background;
What/who influences and inspires you;
What you feel your talents are and what you are passionate about;
Photographic qualifications and/or successes (work in print, shows etc);
Your hopes/plans for the future;
Positive/complimentary comments made by others about your work;
What make you different.

Like most of this sort of thing though, it should be succinct, to-the point and truthful.
