Got to be lots of you who know the answer to this question. The reason i'm asking has stopped me having a Cerb,as my garage is not wide enough to enable me to get out of one after its driven into the garage.
Due to the very long doors. I already have carpet on the walls from previous TVR ownerships.
So is yours a tight squeeze. If so whats the width of Garage.
Please help as this could decide if i get one or not.

My garage is huge so not a problem for me, but these are light cars, you could do what my mate did with his dancing donkey and a narrow garage - get out and push it in then pull it out.

I wouldn't let a narrow garage put me off smile

Dimensions as requested, unfortunately it doesn't tell the whole story; as you've already said they've got long doors.

Length 168 in | 4267 mm.
Width 74 in | 1880 mm.
Height 48 in | 1219 mm.
Wheelbase 101 in | 2565 mm.

With the drivers door open wide enough to get in and out the width of the car is 93" (or about 7ft 9" door would need to be opened wider for someone over 11.5 stone) from passenger mirror outside edge to open edge of drivers door.

My garage walls are well protected by soft carpet underlay just in case.

Regards
Simon

If you push seat back, open drivers window fully and push door open against carpet you can generally unpeel yourself from the car.

Hi Dave.Yes we are both well.As you are i hope.Been back for 3 months now.Sold the boat, cash in the bank. Now its burning a hole in my pocket. The reason i'm asking the question is i've always liked the Cerb. But i suffer from a dicky back, and having to twist to get out always stopped me having one.My back has been good for about a year now.So we might try one.I've got me eye on a gorgious Cerb on Autotrader,Its Purple reflex with black wheels.I've never liked black wheels, but they realy suit this car.Watch this space....hehe (anyone know this car ?)

I can't do that as my drive slopes, and from what i remember TVR handbrakes are not that good(IMHO)Never was any good on our T350C.

Or change the house into a garage, and the garage into a house, there problem solved. If i could get away with doing this i would, have looked into converting certain downstairs rooms into a garage, and have permision from mrs sponge, but i have to finish the one million other jobs i have on the go at the mo.The real easy thing to do is to move to a place that has a big garagebiggrin, looking into this option as well
