Fancy a bike ride for charity?
Discussion
Not sure if this is allowed so please remove if it's not. Not meant to be spam, just thought there might be cyclists on here who are interested in doing a charity ride but don't know how to get involved, or don't like what's on offer elsewhere.
I've mentioned on here in the past that I'm involved with a company who organise multi-stage bike rides in the UK, usually for charities and occasionally for companies who are fundraising on behalf of charities they are associated with.
We've just launched an online blog/magazine which provides details on upcoming and completed rides, gives details about the charities, will include training advice and equipment reviews and also recruit riders for the rides.
All the rides are small groups - the most we've done was 12 people but usually less than that - and they are friendly, fun groups, staying in good hotels, with full support including first-aid trained ride managers and support vehicle.
In addition to the 60-80 mile per day rides there will be some more hardcore rides of 100+ miles per day for more experienced riders.
We're always looking for riders. If you've considered a long distance 2-3 day ride for charity, or if you've done one in the past and want to give it another go, it may be worth subscribing to be kept up to date with what we're doing. It will only be updated once a month so you won't be inundated with daily emails:
