I'm loving this programme, some of the challenges are insane though.
The one at the weekend he had an awesome looking beef sandwich (sensible size) from http://www.yelp.com/biz/brennan-and-carr-brooklyn-... I'm definitely heading there for one when I'm in NY next year.

I can't understand it either. Even some of the normal 'pre-challenge' meals just seem like too much food to me. Wait until you see the plate serving for Jennings Osbourne BBQs. (he has a converted barn with at least a dozen ovens.
Have you heared of FuriousPete on youtube? He's abit crazy too, although he is a competitive eater.

Well, we seem to be rivalling them in the obesity stakes these days, so I'm sure we could do something similar.
Although there is probably some kind of EpicMealTime gang in the UK, doing something similar by now. I'd like to see some fairly rotund Brit doing a "1Kg Pork Pie Challenge" or "Collossal Christmas Dinner". Do we really have enough typically british dishes to make a whole series?

It's A recent discovery for me...so wrong, yet so right! No wonder most sceptics are obese...
+1Heard people talk about it, and it's been mentioned on here. Caught it on Dave. Makes me feel sick watching it but I can't turn it over. It's somehow very very wrong at the sheer amount of gluttony going on but some of the food looks absolutely awesome - there was a slow cooked beef joint in NY I think, black on the outside, red in the middle and succulent juices pouring out. Made me do a sex wee. Then as an antidote you have something like the OMG burger from last night that looked like it needed flushing straight down the loo to cut out the middle man.
So, so wrong. But yeah - series link, hello.
From what I saw on another show, he prepares by not eating much at all for a day or two and then after the event he spends several days working off the challenge with exercise before moving on to the next one.
Everytime I see this show it makes me want to open my own place and make something similar in London and seeing if I can make it a success.

I had a night of this last January. It was hilarious.
