Maserati MC12
European Debut at the Festival of Speed
The new Maserati MC12 was driven for the first time at a European public event during the Goodwood Festival of Speed with CEO Martin Leach at the wheel.
The 630 hp, 205 mph long-tail spider made a dramatic charge up the hill and then lingered in the Supercar paddock. It sported a white and blue livery which harks back to the old Trident Tradition from the Scuderia America Camoradi team in the 1960s when Sir Stirling Moss was lead driver.
It is 37 years since the last victory for Maserati in international championship racing (1967, Cooper Maserati F1, South African Grand Prix) and this new road-going Grand Tourer is being developed into a GT racing version with its V-12 engine sprinting the car from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.

I'd take one over the Enzo any day. So what if it's not quite as fast? At least this one has style

Nope, not for me. The car is way too long to really usable on proper roads (like it won't clear a speed bump and can't drive up a car park ramp for example). Its too compromised as a road car 'cos its designed really to be a race car - hence the long overhangs for aerodynamics etc.
Enzo is designed to be used on the roads so will be better road car.
Can't afford either but its good to dream
